Aim and Scope
International Journal of Biological Systems and Botanical Biotechnology is a peer-reviewed, open-access, electronic scholarly journal dedicated to advancing high-quality research in biological sciences, plant sciences, and botanical biotechnology. The journal provides an international platform for researchers, academicians, scientists, biotechnologists, and industry professionals to publish original research, critical analyses, and applied scientific insights from across the globe.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that integrates biological systems, plant biology, biotechnology, genetics, molecular sciences, and environmental biology. Our mission is to promote research that supports sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, agricultural innovation, ecological balance, and biotechnological advancements addressing global biological and environmental challenges.
International Journal of Biological Systems and Botanical Biotechnology also aims to foster academic writing and research dissemination skills among early-career researchers, postgraduate scholars, PhD candidates, and young scientists. The editorial team is committed to mentoring new contributors—particularly those from developing regions—to enhance the scientific quality, clarity, and impact of their scholarly work.
The journal publishes a wide range of manuscript types, including editorials, original research articles, review papers, short communications, case studies, technical notes, policy perspectives, and letters to the editor. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific validity, originality, and relevance.
We welcome contributions in areas such as biological systems modeling, plant biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, plant–microbe interactions, sustainable agriculture, environmental biotechnology, conservation biology, and related disciplines. The journal follows a continuous, issue-free publication model, ensuring rapid dissemination of accepted articles. All published content is fully open access and freely available without subscription barriers.
Open Access Policy
The International Journal of Biological Systems and Botanical Biotechnology provides immediate open access to all published content, based on the principle that freely accessible research fosters global knowledge exchange and scientific advancement. By removing financial, legal, and technical barriers, the journal ensures that research findings reach a broad international audience and contribute to academic growth, scientific innovation, and evidence-based decision-making in biological and botanical sciences.
